I have the original version of Fallout: New Vegas (without the DLC) properly installed and activated on Steam. However I just bought a copy of Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition on retail. When I try to install the Ultimate Edition the onscreen options are: Play Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, Reinstall, Uninstall. Should I just get rid of my current installation and then reinstall the game from the Ultimate Edition disk? If instead of reinstalling I just input the Ultimate Edition's activation code in Steam, will doing so 'upgrade' the current installation?
reinstalling will definitely solve it(I think it takes it as u're installing something already installed even though it's only part of it)
