hey, i just got fable, and i cant get huws sword out of the rock. do you just boost your physique to max (the last one takes 86k exp) and pull on it or is there some trick to it? i got my physique up to six and had no luck.
it's been posted before... the first time you get to the sword and try to pull it out, your stats are recorded in your game file. After this first try, you must boost your physic by 5, your health by 4 and your toughness by 3. If boosting a level 6 physic by five means having an 11 physic ( which is impossible), just max physic out and that'll do. ( i'm not sure about the numbers (5,4,3); correct me if im wrong)
Unfortunately I tried the sword for the first time when I was almost finished with the game. My stats were all pretty high. I had to max out on ALL strength skills before I could pull it out, and by then I had the big nasty bad sword from Jack anyway... Meh.
yea thats why it's best to have your strength attributes pretty low when you do your first try. Hew is definately worth it if you're not getting sword of aeons though.
Dont really bother with Huw's sword, it only does around 180 dmg, the Katana in Lady greys bedroom is much better and is faster on the attack
depends on people's style of fighting...hew has longer reach then katana and is slightly faster on attack
I found that HUW's sword isn't worth very much. You can make a sword in the game better then that one.
ive bought the master greatsword from north bowerstone and there is only 2 swords more powerful they are the solus greatsword and the sword of aeons
i married her and got into the bedroom and found a silverkey. also if u go to ladygreys house there is a demon door which gives you a axe i think or that green sword.

It´s not Masters Greatsword it´s not betetr than either of them masters greatsword got 214 dmg olus greatsword got 314 and Sword of aeons got 550 dmg lol
How to marry lady grey Btw if any wonders how to get married you can get help from the woman near bowerstone jail first you got to speak with lady grey then you got buy her a black rose(only sold in bowerstone north in the shop) then you got to find her neckless if i´m not wrong.. You got to speak with the men around ton and then teleport (or walk your shose) to Oakvale go into the graveyeard there claled.. Memorial gardens? Well go up there use the "sneak ability" and hide behidn the wall you wil lthen hear the two traders chatting that they have barried the neckless between the two boats on the beach go down there stand between the boats and dig up the neckless return to Lady Grey hand in the neckless and you then got to fight thunder! . go to headmans block (dunno about the name either) also on the way to Lychfield Graveyard and Bargate Prison fight thunder and defeat him now return to Lady Grey marry her or marry the poor girl near Bowerstone Jail if you marry lady grey you gt whole 15.000 gold! And nothign for the other girl but if you just keep you wife happy show you loive ehr giving her present just waste a 20 gold once in a while on a present to her it will pay of i ntime she will give you weapons and i married a girl almost in the start of the game and she gave about 30.000 worth of weapons and armor! (sorry if theres many typing mistakes)
Me problem My problem was that i had grinded a lot of xp and only used my xp in str. heh i play the ame a lot so i try a lot of difrent thing but when i came to Witchwood i had almoost full in everything :angel:
Actually, I think that Avo's Tear is awesome. I didn't go with Aeons because I chose the good side, but technically Avo's Tear and Aeons are the same thing they just have different colors. But Avo's Tear comes with Mana and Health Augments. I don't know about Aeon's sword. But as for the Huw's sword, I would get it then sell it for gold because it's worth around 45,000 I believe.
Avo's Tear and Sword of Aeons are the exact same sword just different looks. They're just as strong as each other in every way possible, unless you're playing the original Fable, in that case Avo's Tear doesn't exist and the Sword of Aeons is incredibly overpowered and easily the strongest weapon in game. As for Huws sword, in the original Fable you only had to max out Physique but in TLC you need all 3 melee disciplines maxed out. Edit: Chey you're avatar reminded me of the girl from the Masquerade bloodlines. Loved that game...
I personally love Huw's Sword. I go though the game with out spending any exp on Strength attributes until I try pulling it out of the stone for the first time. Then afterwards I spend all the exp I have saved to get it out. I don't really like the Katana Hiru, it's too short and kind of annoying to play with.
