I used the Dremora mod for my guy but when i start in the cell at the begining valen dreth walks to the bars but says nothing and the emporor and the blades never come down so i cant get out of my cell. Does anyone know any way to get around this?
What happens is the Dunmer in the cell across from you has different lines he says depending on your race. It doesn't trigger with custom races. There are various fixes available. The method I recommend is to install the unofficial patch along with the extra patches that go with the DLC if you have any of those as it includes the custom race fix along with many other attempts to fix the game. Unofficial Patch Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch Unofficial DLC Patches If you don't want to use the unofficial patches then there are custom race fixes out there but I have never used any of them so don't know which ones are better than the others.
