No matter what I do or try, I can´t create or join a multiplayer game, in SoA or ToB. When I try to create or join a game, it freezez for a sec and then crashses. I´ve tried reinstalling / removing everything related with baldur´s gate, I´ve tried running in compatibility mode, as administrator, shutting off firewall, installed the latest patch, all the fix packs, tried without them, tried window mode and without. I rly dont know what els to do. Thx a bunch!
in this case its either a corrupted version of the game, or a system malfunction. Does it work with other games? Have you installed some tunnelling or loopback adapters. Not saying they are responsible, but they could mess up the net detection of a game.
my firewalls detect it and it is allowed, I dont know what it could be. it works fine everywhere els, and it worked fine at first. It was when, I copied a character file from my bg1 tutu game. After that, it´s been like this.
Well remove that that character from game folder and try again. Mb the game checks all chars and cannot get past this one.
I did, and it didn´t work :/.. but what did work.... my going complete rage mode and went monkey tonkey on my keyboad, while trying to create a game..... BAM! Now it works old games oO cant understand them..
