This encounter was added by the unofficial patches. I forget which one, exactly. 2.9, 3.0 - somewhere in that range, I believe. At any rate, without the unofficial patch installed you won't get this particular Jeanette encounter.
Is was a Ventrue and i got to do Jeanette after i had went downtown and reported to Lacroix (1st time). I even pissed Jeanette of at one point about something (cant remember what it was about). I still gave her the pendant and had her kill Therese. Doesn't it require a 100% perfect relationship with Jeanette to be able to do her??
There are 3 conditions to be able to sleep with Jeanette: 1. Therese is dead. 2. You've completed the game up through the Elizabeth Dane mission 3. Jeanette likes you enough. How much is enough? Well, the game checks the value of a variable called G.Jeanette_Seduce. You need it to be 8 to sleep with her. If you choose all of her seduction dialogue options and give her the ocean house pendant, you'll get it up to 11. There's a little bit of a buffer zone. You can be rude to her a couple of times, as long as you don't do it too often. This does not include the extra Jeanette encounter added by the unofficial patches.
I dont know about the above posters info ... All i can tell you is that if you dont get the email from her ( and read it ) to come over and visit cause shes bored, you dont get to have the nookie. I have yet to have a run thru the game that i didnt get the fade to black .... Not sure the earliest ive gotten it, but i know you have to have opened up downtown ( she doesnt reappear til you do after the sister confrontation ) Ive gone as late as finishing the hollywood main line quests before going to visit her, and shes still up for play Incidently, if you talk to here a while later, you find out that the prince tried to go where youve been, and she denied him ...
why wouldn`t she sleep with a nos ? you`re forgetting that she slept with bertram tung ? i just started playing as nos ( just got downtown ) and i sided with jeanette... and now i`m curious... when `ill get to hollywood , i`ll pay her a visit and see what the easter bunny brings *edit* i just 'conquered jeanette`s territory' as a nossie so she doesn`t have any problem with physical appearance...
Well, that and she is insane, of course. Everything she does is to get Terese' knickers in a twist. That's probably why she turned down LaCriox - her 'sister' might actually approve of her sleeping with a Ventrue who's putatively the head of the Cam in L.A.
sadly we get the black screen in the euro version too personally i didnt think it was explicit at all well not as bad as the witcher :laugh:
I AM tired of it i played as ventrue,tremere and gangrel and all times got laid you have to be good to both of them but when Therese says something about Jeanete you take Jeanete's place without insulting any of them you don't give the pendant to Jeanete but say it gentle.Then let Jeanete survive and say that you will come back.Go back after the dane ask what is going on in santa monica then are you lonely and then I know something but i don't know if it is possible and she will answer It is entirely possibly congratulations you just show a black screen with some soundtrack.
Ok, I do have a solution, without spoilers, or too many, for everyone. Seducing Jeanette actually start out when you first meet her in the Asylum. Before entering, do as many quests as you can, to build up the stuff you need for adding to your Seduction score. During your first conversation with Jeanette, you will, eventually, get a pink conversation line. That is where is starts. I think it's where she says "...firehoses." Or something like that. The important key is fire hoses.Anyway, hope this helps.
