Money isn't the issue, I simply played the game and wasn't impressed. I haven't seen or heard anything about it since to make me believe otherwise. The game going F2P has no effect on me, I still want to spend my free time on better games.
Yeah it seems to me the game had so much more potential then what it ended up being. Honestly this game should have Rivaled WoW...instead it flops because of simple things that should have been addresed in development before even being released
I may give it a try when I get a new comp, I won't expect much and I know most of it's faults already, but it's worth a try for me at this point.
If ToR was released 3 or 4 years ago, it would have been good. Now it was too lifeless and too cumbersome to put up with the disadvantages of an MMO.
What Gawain said - I will give it another peek though when it goes F2P. The story lines are still amazing for an MMO ( Or really any game ) Certainly on par with KOTOR I or II. It feels more like a single player game that should have had client side hosting for multi player. That would have been truly epic.
