Uber Site Dungeons and Dragons Chat Revised: by HomeBase-Kice All you need is some friends an equal number of computers and their ip's and voila you have a DnD game just make sure that you only have 1 DM and to be it push f12 and yes but be warned your friends will know.
Noob Hi I just came across this and the game chat, and I thought it would be something fun to try out. I've never played a DnD type game before and I don't have any of the book things yet... but if someone would be willing to let me watch a game or two I could probably catch on quickly enough; that or let me try to play. Possible Fix? Hello people, I pretty new here. Matter of fact I came here because of this post. ^.^ I may have a Fix for this problem of yours. I have a vent I'm looking to Sponsor a group, I don't want to do it for Video games that bring to much drama. But, I have played D&D for a very long time. *looks over his 400 and something books* I would be willing to give you guys the chance to use my vent for playing Real time D&D. I can even do it for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th E.'s . . . But here are my problems: 1: I'm not sure how many of you would like this. I've seen so far 100+ people reply to this post. So, I would need to know how many people would be joining so I know if my vent needs to be bigger. 2: Everyone would have to remember it is my vent, I pay for it. So my rules go. 3: I don't know **** about 4e : P But I can DM 1st, 2nd and 3rd. *been playing for 8 years* Things we would need: 1: A program for a dice roller, I know a few and will test each out. 2: A list of what E.*Exp: 1st, 2nd , etc* everyone wants to play. 3: Who has no Idea how to play. 4: A list of Possible DM's. Me Too Personally I miss being able to play DnD with real people and would be rather interested in joining any online chat game I'm familiar with 3e but mostly know about 4e these days. I used to DM for friends but that was a while ago no a days it's just plain imposible to get a group togther.
I see a lot of people saying "Hey I would like to play this", a lot of people saying "Hey, I have some good programs to run this", and a lot of people saying "Hey, I'll DM", but NONE saying "We have a game going, anyone who is interested email me". So it is my assumption that everyone keeps wishing, hoping that the system, DM, and players will magically appear in cooperation instead of those who are able getting off their asses and making this happen. Sorry if I sound a bit crude, but I am interested in this and am disappointed that after 8 pages, the idea hasn't come to fruition.
Agreed Blockinlick, I very much agree with you. (sorry if I mispelt your name) and since there are only three posts this year, we should start our own. As a person who has never played before, I would like to start as a player. If one of you three or another would like to be DM or play, please respond and we'll discuss where and how we can do this.
Being as we are both new players, we will need at least one experienced person behind us before we could really get it going smoothly. I do have something to offer though... maybe. I know some people in a "AI Chatbot" forum that might chock over some Chatbots that roll dice and randomize loot. Then again... they might not. So if you find any experienced player/s willing to co-operate, PM me and I'll be all for getting this idea, in any way or form, up and running. I will do the same. I currently participate in a much busier AD&D forum [DF] and I might be able to get someone on board from there.
It has been a while since i played there but there are a couple of 3.5 DnD chats based out of Exodus Project RPG Chats Site and they always used to be free. it has been a couple of years since i was there but i am actually thinking of going back myself.
