i've been having problems with this game flickering recently. I've thought about going back and restoring my system before this started happening, but I don't want to waste the last 2 weeks of work I put into this game. If I take my last saved game and save it to an external device and then restore my system and put that saved game back into the appropiate folder, would I be back where I was? Or do I need to save some kind of character file as well?
You can save the .exe file and save the file of C drive. You must start the pc safe mode . you don't restore the pc because all installed programs were uninstall.
actually, I found out it's different with Windows 7. Windows 7 puts your saved games in a completely different folder (wish there would have been some forewarning) so even if you do a complete reinstall without saving any files you'll be fine. thanks for the response though.
