If the schoolteacher refuses a book, that means you don't have any books he wants. So you need to find some more books. SWC
Raid Bowerstone South and Oakvale for a bunch of books, also the Heroe's Guild library, dorms, and the shelf in Maze's Quarters for the book Jack of Blades. In Knothole Glade get The Balverine Slayer, and in Bowerstone North get The Tailor's Tragedy. I think the only one missing from those places is Eyes of a Killer, I know I've had to buy that at Twinblade's Camp a few times. But those should give you all the books you need to complete the quest. There are a lot of books like The Bloodline, Book of Spells, Hierarchy of Weapons, A Hero's Journey I II & III that you can't donate.
bout the books on the subject of the book bloodline how do u go read it cuz i cant find any of the books in my inventory untill i go to sell them or take them to the school teacher and my sister person expects me to have read the book and i cant so yea how does that work
If you already have the said book, it should be in ur inventory... technically. Try searching through it thoroughly.
i did when i went to search i went to items/others then i couldnt find any of my books so i went thru the rest of my items trophys potions etc then i went thru my clothing and weapons and i couldnt find it went to my hero section and skills section and the rest of it and i cant find it it was like this when i had the game installed into my last computer too
It's kinda weird because your books aren't among your Items. In the main menu, go to Logbook, inside you'll find a section called Books. It will list all of your books and you can read the description for each, though you can't actually "read" the entire book.
Reading your books Go into Hero Status (on same screen as World Save etc) then Log Book and then Books. All the books you have (even if you have given them away to the teacher) are there to read.

Alright, so, this is one of the most difficult silver keys to get, as it is impossible to tell what you have turned in and what you haven't, and how many more you need. This is probably the most frustrating thing in Fable:TLC there is. So, to make things much simpler, i created a list listing all 25 of the books you need and where you can get them. 1. However, I tried to make it so that the earlier zones to obtain the books are listed, rather than the latter zones. So, essentially, the towns snowspire village & knothole glade are essentially useless in your book hunt. I would like to note as well that there is EXACTLY 25 books you can turn in, unlike what other people are claiming. There is no more than 25 books the teacher will accept. Otherwise, this quest would be a billion times easier. So, if you feel like you've scoured these zones completely, and the teacher keeps telling you "Merrrrrrr, book of spells, I don't like this book!" like he did me, go through and double check them again.
