is alvin actually jaques de adelsberg? they have the same visions, same amulet, and alvin knows about the witcher secrets from you. triss sayd that he could teleport anywhere in time, means that he teleported back in time, then comes to be known as jaques as he gorws up

It is never stated whether or not the Grand Master and Alvin are the same, but there is really very little doubt. The amulet on the Grand Masters corpse and some conversation options with Alvin are pretty much give aways.
