Extra Trophy Monster?

Has anybody else seen this?

In chapter II just after I got into the Temple Quarter (at night), I wandered into the field next to the hospital where I found a ghoul like monster which killed me very quickly and had some kind of knockdown power. I didn't catch it's name but I doesn't seem to be any of the monsters listed in any guides and I haven't seen it since. I don't know if it was just a random monster or what! Anybody have any idea?

Sometimes undead creatures spawn in town at night. It might have been just a regular fleder or something. So far as I know, there are just ten trophy monsters.
