Dice Game causes performance problems

The game looks great, and is really enjoyable to play, even though the cut scenes are often a bit lengthy. However, whenever I play dice my system starts to show performance problems, both during the dice game and from then on. If I save and then exit/restart performance goes back to normal again. I've reduced the screen size and have even tried running at low settings but playing dice is always a killer, even on a couple of occasions rebooting my machine! I'm running an AMD 4800 with 4Gb ram, XFX 7800GTX(490Mhz), and fast RAID 0+1 disks, so should easily be able to run on medium, and do so when I avoid playing dice.

Does anyone else have similar experiences? I've even stripped out all other unnecessary running apps/services and still have the same problem. It's not just the money, after all I could use a trainer and give myself some if that's all I wanted, but I'd like to complete all the quest(s). Any ideas?

Thanks.

PS I have the 1.2 patch installed

Only thing I can suggest is to update your video card drivers maybe...

Thanks, but all my device drivers are currently up to date. Anyway, ignoring the dice sub-game the game plays quite well, but it does limit my 'income' potential! Perhaps the promised updates, due to arrive in a few months, will solve this problem.
