Weird Happenings

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anybody had any weird things happen to them or that they saw while playing Oblivion. For instance just walking down a road in Oblivion did you see anything unusual?

This probably won't be nearly as exciting as other stories some people might have but one of the first days I got Oblivion I was traveling down...Gold road I think it was and I see a random person chasing in Argonian in green clothes. I tried to help but it showed both as Essential creatures and the Argonian even asked me to help her when I entered dialogue but alas, there was nothing I could do. I searched and searched all the quests but couldn't find anything like this. I finally just settled on it being a glitch and left it alone.

This was in 2005 so I can't remember the names of the characters anymore. If anybody else has any stories feel free to share!

I've seen a couple interesting "friendly fire" incidents with NPCs. Just a few days ago I was doing the TG questline to take a break from the main quest. I was returning to my waterfront shack to drop off some loot, and a Mythic Dawn sleeper summons bound armor & comes after me. But the whole waterfront is crawling with imperial guards and my neighbors. They all instantly run to my defense: guards, fellow thieves and ordinary civilians, so the Mythic Dawn agent never even gets close to me. It's at least 7 or 8 on 1 so it doesn't last long, but sometime in the fray somebody must have hit somebody they shouldn't have, because the next thing I know, like they say in the song, "everybody was kung fu fighting".

The White Horse Courier guy lands a few punches on an Imperial guard and bolts. Methredel is kicking everybody's butt. Heironymous Lex chases Bronsila Kvinchal into the Bloated Float. What's up with that? I can understand the guards and the Thieves' Guild getting into it with tensions running high after the attack, but Bronsila is one of the few people on the whole waterfront who actually has an honest work ethic! Bounty or no bounty, I can't let that happen, so I chug an invisibility potion and nail Lex with Wizard's Fury to give her time to escape. Long story short, the fighting eventually stopped but there's a nice pile of bodies and the waterfront now appears to be a permanent danger zone because I can't wait or fast travel unless I go inside my house.

That does remind me of something weird happening to me also during the Thieves Guild quest line. I was on the very last part of the last TG quest when*spoilers ahead* I used the Arrow of Extrication to open the secret door and as soon as I walked inside the guards saw me. So naturally I used an Invisibility spell and the guards for one reason or another I'm not sure, they started attacking each other. I keep using my Invis spell and I constantly hear them shout, "He's a murderer, kill him!" to each other. Eventually the slaughtered about 7 of their own men before the fighting finally ceased. Unfortantely due to this I had to kill the remaining three survivors and 5 respawn guards with my Mace of Doom so that I could get past this quest due to a problem it caused with sitting in the reading room chair.

This just happened to me last night: I had just accepted Big Heads mission in the Shivering Isles. Not 20 seconds later I hear someone pull out a sword. I turn around and see Big Head getting chased by 3 Golden Saints. Needless to say, they butchered him. After his death, they begin to attack the Lady who juggles (I forgot her name) and destroyed her as well. This caused me to lose the ability to do the mission. I restarted the game from the point I accepted the mission, and this time, nothing happened. In fact, the first time I played the Shivering Isles, I saw the Juggler Lady's tombstone in the cemetary. Not sure how she died, but I sure didn't do it!

ive had imperial legion forresters shoot each other and yelling something like: "you criminal scum" and "no-one can withstand the legion!"
iv also been near an oblivion gate that was heavily guarded(near fort sutch) and i saw a huge band of imperial legion troopers charge upon the gate, of course they got butchered completely by those xivilai!
ive got a low level account who has already got the unicorn as his steed. needless to say, he doesnt draw his weapon near the thing and the unicorn kills everything i throw at it in one blow!!(me like!)
in the two sides of the coin quest ive attacked jorundr and the guards killed jorundr and treted me as if i hadnt done anything wrong!!!
in the whodunit quest ive seen primo antonius standing on the table on the 2nd floor. i pushed him off by walking upon him and he feel and seemingly he had 0 acrobatics because the 3 foot jump killed him! the other guest were looking right at me but didnt suspect i had anything to do with his death!
ive had guards and civilians like me so much that they attacked other guards who tried to kill me when i resisted arrest
ive had guards like me so much that when i turned myself in they said:'dont worry about that bounty, ill take care of it

just happened to me today: i was training my block against zombies and i walked into the ayleid ruin undiseased and went out with 3 diseases at the same time! (imagine yourself having -20 personality, -20 agility and -10 strength!)
now im level 7 and ive had 7 diseases so far!
