| You know, this confused me as well when I got the cure. When you finish gathering all the ingredients and bring them to her, she gives you two doses right there. However, if you look in your inventory (if I'm not mistaken), you will only see the ONE dose of the cure that's for you. I remember seeing this and thinking, "!#@%, where's the dose for the Count?". I didn't bother searching the rest of my inventory, but I'm fairly certain it was there, lower in the list, maybe as a quest item that can't be used, you know what I mean? It's there, though, trust me. So what you should do is reload the game from a previous save, bring the stuff to the witch, go to the Count and give him his dose, and then take your's.
**VERY IMPORTANT** Well, it's important if you care about your character's face, I suppose. If not, you don't need to read on.
Your face will revert back to what it looked like exactly one level of vampirism down when you take the cure. Does that make sense? Ok, let's say you're at level 4 of the vampirism. This is where it's at its fullest, and where people won't even talk to you, right? If you take the cure then, it will remedy the vampirism, but your face will look how it did when you were at vampirism level 3. Keep all this in mind when you're ready to drink your dose. If you want to get your face to look how it did before you became a vampire, feed so that you're at the lowest stage of vampirism, THEN take the cure. |
