***SPOILER*** Where is Shadowbane Wine?

I was told to look around the old forts. Well, I've looked around and IN a whole bunch of them so far and don't recall once seeing any of this particular wine.

Anyone here can point me in the right direction, please?

Try looking around the entrence to the prison sewers. It's in a crate close to a nearby fort (not inside the fort!).

I don't remember the fort - maybe Fort Ash, but not at all sure of that. It is in a chest on the outside of the fort, high up, on a broken ledge you have to jump to. No direct way to it. There may be an archer standing on the ledge, shooting at you.

There should be a Fort near Azura's I believe, and one across from Bravil, across the water. I found two sets there. Am still looking for the third set.

I know I found 2 bottles on a table deep in a fort. Can't be much more precise, sorry. They DO exist though.

The tricky bit is, once you have it, what do you do to it, or it does to you, or you do to somebody else?

It's a quest item. I know what to do with it once I find enough.

I have found two of the six that I need to finish this little quest.

The Two I've found so far were at Ft. Magia.

And the side quest bummer is that the person who wants the wine won't take them as you find them. It's all six or none. So you end up storing them or carrying them around.

I have found 4 bottles so far....at Ft. Magia and Ft. Carmala (sp?) and I've looked ALL around near the Prison Sewers entrance....every place I can find anywhere within view. I don't see anything near the sewer entrance. Are you SURE there were some there? Or, is this Ft. Magia what you were talking about? It's east and a little south of the entrance across the water.

I don't know the name of this fort, so I'll say what I can.

[QUEST SPOILER ALERT]

In Bravil, you get a request from a woman to help her husband. He had some debts and the loan shark (for lack of a better term) took him and no one's seen him since. The Orc loan-shark tells you he has a family heirloom in a nearby fort, and if you get it he'll give back her husband. Once you go to that fort, there's a treasure chest you have to jump to. Two bottles of Shadowbane are in it. (You don't need a high acrobatics skill to make the jump. Just take off your heavy armor.)

Thanks! I actually did that quest but must not have noticed the chest.

I'm on my way.............

EDIT: Mission Accomplished!!!

The fort is Ft. Grief, BTW.

**spoiler**

Confirmed.
There are two in Ft. Grief (that's the fort on the island east of Bravil) on the top level inside a locked chest. That makes four for me.
