Go invisible, sneak, deal critical damage, repeat.
It actually works quite well.

And since I'm a Redguard who raised my endurance ASAP, my health is at the highest it could be, so once I run out of magicka, I just go head on against the enemy and use Adrenlaline Rush if necessary. Also being under the sign of the atronach, mages are the easiest thing to kill and enemies with enchanted weapons only give me magic.

My favorite battle tactic is actually to sneak with my Dragon Bow out, draw out my Arrow of Burning, from a distance I shoot the enemy and then cast my most powerful fireball following it, usually takes them out pretty fast.

Conjure something up, a Lich, Xivilai, or Gloom Wraith, depending on the situation, then hack, hack, hack, hack, hack, hack, and slash with a blade until they die.

My PC wandered into a ruin populated by conjurors, and not having any specific cause for concern, revealed herself and said, "Hello" to the first person she saw. He started yelling, "To arms, to arms", so she ran and hid. It's really a very bad idea to attack the Master of All Guilds and get her mad enough to come for you in her favored attack pattern. Yes, she slaughtered the lot.
Crouch, sneak, 70% chameleon, Detect Life in 128 feet, enchanted bows and blades, Nocturnal's Cowl, and stealth kills through and through. She took out the entire nest of conjurers and their minions without taking a single hit. Master of Thieves, Master of Assassins, Master of Fighters, and Master of Mages. Do not make her irritable. The PMS gets really unpleasant.

Very, very early in the game before I had much of any skills, I would find a large boulder to get upon and then summon whatever I could come up with to summon and use range weapons. Once the enemy's health depleted enough, I would jump into the fray and finish them off with various blades I had on hand.

I would sneak EVERYWHERE and use the sneak reticule (since I play without the main reticule) for targeting for my range weapons and cast spells.

Well, nowadays, I'm using Contant 95% Chameleon along with Expert Sneak and often getting 6X Sneak Damage....and even getting some repeat 6X Sneak Damage on the same party.

However, I still like to jump onto large boulders and simply watch the fight from afar.

Zap them with my destruction spell, usually some heavy duty fire then watch with glee as they burn and burn running toward me screaming why won't you die, yawn and block. Then remember the sword, whack them a few times, then just for good measure, whip out that spell again and watch them fly and then crumple to the floor. It's fun.

All about poisons

I made a dumb mistake, which turned out to work all right anyway. Im a master at alchemy and can make potions from one ingredient. I origanally thought that i could raise alchemy up really fast so id level up fast. Then i realized that the game was leveled. But it worked out all right, because i just mix up a poison, fire damage etc. and hit em with my bow. By the time they make it to me they are almost dead, so i pop into 3rd person and finish em with a nice looking power attack and watch them fly. I can alos make lots of paralyzing poisons for when there are multiple enemies. Then if the battle gets rough, i have a supply of restore healths from daedra hearts.

Question removed. It had nothing to do with this thread. Answer: start a new thread.

As a fighter with magi capabilities I usually use a whole slew of things to take people down.

I first start with sneaking, then use my bow and arrow (usually one or the other (or both!) is enchanted, and marksman is one of my mains) dealing just 2x damage. Next comes a fireball (destruction is one of my main), then switch over to a shield spell and slap that before they get to me. Right before they reach me I reach for my shield and blade (both block and blade are 2 of my mains), blocking their initial attack with my Escutcheon of Chorrol (which sends 30% of their damage back at them). Then it's time for the sword (a Daedric blade, that while enchanted usually doesn't have any left... but still deals 26 damage per schwack), then block then fire then sword until they are almost dead, then soul trap, then sword then death!

I enjoy using as many abilities as possible.... makes the battles more interesting ;-)

I have Sneak & Marksman as major skills. Once Marksman gets high enough, you can zoom in with the block button if you have an arrow nocked. I've always carried the best bow & arrows I could find or buy (currently glass or magic arrows & a Daedric bow enchanted with a grand soul gem for 39 pts electric damage - maybe the last bow I'll ever own). I sneak constantly until I see a baddie, back as far away as I can get, nock an arrow, zoom in and let fly. If I miss, they almost never notice. If I hit, the 3x sneak attack bonus will take down a lot of things in a single hit. Even if they live through the first shot, it often takes them long enough to spot me that the second shot is a sneak attack too, and not many things will live through that. Even better, bows are nice and quiet so even if they have friends lurking around the corner they often don't notice unless they were looking right at the one that got hit first. I frequently pick off two or three nasties before they even realize where the danger is coming from. A little magic will make this tactic even more devastating. Invisibility helps you stay undetected until the first shot, and chameleon effects will help you stay undetected once the mayhem begins.

It also helps to get fast at the second shot. Kind of a quick-draw McGraw thing. If you're quick, you can drop five or six opponents in the same room with you before anybody knows they're dead. I've dropped five and been looting corpses before the first one stopped bouncing. If you wind up with a nocked arrow and nothing left alive to shoot at, just fire at the floor and pick it up again.
However, as we're on the topic of tactics, choose the order of your attack before you start. It matters. If you're sneaking, and you kill somebody that nobody is looking at, nobody will notice it. If everybody is looking your way, start killing with the one farthest away. If everybody is looking away, start killing with the one nearest to you. If everybody is looking left, start killing from the right, and vice-versa. Situations differ, so take 20 seconds and think about what will work best. Sometimes, timing is everything. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
If you're full-on and in their face (speaking of youth), then choose your targets by lethality. If you've got a conjuror and five daedra, the conjurer goes first, because that is where more daedra can come from. Compared to the daedra, the conjuror is the greater threat.
In a den of vampires, do the dogs first and quietly. They're not a threat, but they can smell you and alert the vampires. You don't want a half-dozen vampires who know exactly where you are. That's a Bad Thing.
Also, if you're into looting corpses, be sure of where your about-to-be-dead opponent is going to be after you kill them. If you blow out a Minotaur Lord on a mountain-side and he falls down a cliff, sorry kid, you don't get the horn. If you are on the down-hill side of them when you kill them, you can loot the corpse as it falls past you. Not a perfect solution, just a better one.
