Quest help [SPOILERS]

Hello.

Please can I have some help? I am currently doing the quest what countess Chorrel gives to you, where you have to find clues and then accuse someone of stealing the painting. I don't want the quest spoiled, but can you point me in the right direction? I found the suspicious painting in the West Tower, and the painting equipment, but I can't find anything else.
