Please Help. Stuck in Dreamworld and cant get out!

I dont know if anyone is going to be able to help, But im totally stuck, and if i cant get out of this, then im going to have to restart the entire game and start from scratch, which sucks...big time

Basically i did the test where you have to follow the map, then i went into the minotaur one, but for some reason when i got into the arena, the gate didnt fall down, so i turned around, and truly, reasons unknown i actually went back into the door back to the guy with the 4 doors leading to the tasks.

I didnt think anything of it, i wasnt followed by the minotaurs (as far as i could tell), i went and did the water test, then did the test with the axes and boulders

then finally i went back to the minotaur test, went into the areana, once more the gate didnt fall ... BUT

the minotaurs were gone!! Completely dissapeared!1 I've reloaded the game (my save points are, 1 in the previous task, 1 after completing previous task, and 1 in the minotaur task) ... i've rebooted the entire game, i've done all i can... and the minotaurs are never there!!

this means the steps wont raise so im unable to get the final orb! and unless there's any other way of a) making the minotaurs appear, or b) just getting out the dreamworld without completing it... i think im stuck forever

is anyone able to help? sorry for the long post btw!

p.s. this is on ps3, so i cant edit any console stuff either

Did you make certain that you finished all the tests first?
I believe there were four tests you have to complete.
Try going back to the bedroom and see if there is a test you didn't finish.

Sorry about the spoiler bit, i've edited the title now, my bad

Sorry i meant to say i've completed all the other tasks... so all those doors are now locked requiring a key

the only other thing i can think of, is the minotaurs maybe followed me out that arena room into the next room i went into and got stuck there... but that's quite unlikely as they couldnt get down the areana steps becasue they were too tall

I found this at another website, not sure if it will help but give it a shot.

"Alternatively, you could skip the battle with the minotaurs altogether. Immediately after entering the arena, jump on the flaming pillar either on the left or on the right. Then try to jump onto the balcony on top of the arena entrance. You probably won't make it all the way into the balcony but just hang in there (keep running upwards so you won't fall). It only takes one hit of the minotaur's hammer to push you right into the balcony. Then you can just grab Henantier's Resolve. Or if you want to have some fun, you can first shoot some lightning at the minotaurs from that safe position."

thanks for all the help mate, but still no luck

i dont know what flaming pillars they mean, as theres only 2 tiny block to jump on that u dont get near the balcony!
