Odd stuff (bug?) after Dreamworld quest **SPOILERS**

Warning, major SPOILERS below.....




I have just finished the "Dreamworld" quest. This is the one you get in the Bravil Mage's guild, and you end up in someone else's dream. While in the dream, you end up naked, without any of your gear....

So, I finish the quest, and go to re-equip my gear.....and the game won't let me re-equip the ring (Vipereye) that I received upon finishing the Pale Pass quest. I just get a message saying "You cannot equip that enchanted item at this time...." All of my other enchanted gear equips just fine - it is only that ring.

So....this is even stranger. Even though the ring is not equipped, I am still getting its benifit according to the screen where you get the summary of magical effects. It is as if the effects of the ring have become permanent.

So...this certainly seems like a bug to me. Anyone with similar problems?

Assuming it is a bug, how can it be reported to Bethesda?

Yes, this is a known bug, we all have the same issue. The game sees the Ring as an MQ item and this happens. Nothing you can do about it. Bethy is probably aware of it, but sure why not report it, it can't do any harm.

HEY I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM... IT HAPPENED TO ME TOO! it must be a bug

Not a bug, I don't think. There are other things, like the scales, that confer benefits as long as you carry them - you don't have to equip them.

I'm more worried about not being able to remove the ring (along with other 'quest' items) from my inventory
