| | @Silentnuta, please add a spoilers tag whenever posting spoilers. People might have their game spoiled on such threads, and you may end losing posting privileges, as stated in the "hey you" thread, which you should also read.

| | There are quite a few NEc. amulets so if you are on the PC, type
- ~ (without the shift)
- player.additem (item ID)
- ~
The item ID for the amulets can be found here, you just pick which one you want, as I've said they are different.

| | Can I ask what is so unique in this amulet? Does it have any powers? I haven't checked it before I gave it to the Arch mage. Did I miss something? |

In MW, the Necromancer's Amulet was the talisman of the head of the mage's guild, and was pretty zoot-capri, but nothing to get all teary-eyed over. I doubt that the one in Oblivion is any better than something you can make yourself.

| | | I think it's the one that enhances the magic schools by 5 (iirc), and takes 10 (iirc) off your STR, END, and something else. I never wanted to use it. The disadvantages outweigh the advantages, imo, as with most artefacts. |

| | | The stats for the necromancers amulet i was given are
Fortify willpower 14 points
Fortify intellagence 14 points
fortify magika 130 points
fortify conjuration 12 points
drain strength 25 point
drain endurance 25 points
i dont know about you guys but i think this is an amulet worth keeping for a spellcasting mainly conjuring character, dont you? |

| | True. Anyway it's bad for me. I'm a worrior with 100 strength and Endurance, and a master of blade and block. A tiny brain with a huge sword, that's what I like
I'm a disaster when it comes to spells.. |

| | Thanks for the correction, Silentnuta!
Well, my char is a magic specialisation Breton, and I wouldn't use that amulet! It's worse than I remembered! Drain STR and END 25 points each!? NO WAY!! My current char has 80 STR and 70 END. Her health is 273 (magica 302, good enough for most spells), but what a huge drop in health such a massive drop in Endurance would cause! She'd be down to 35, which is only 5 more than she started with, and her health when she got to END 38 was a mere 82, and even taking into consideration the natural increases on level-up she'd still drop nearly 100 health. No wonder Caranya was such a pushover, hey?

| | But at the time i was using other modified (armour/rings) to balance out the loss in STr and EDR i just loved the massive amount of magkia it added and out my itellegence and conjuration around 120 but alas its gone now and its impossible to keep unless i dont advance further in the mages guild but thats silly! They should bring out an MMORPG game with the detail and grandness of this game it would be outstanding i grew tierd of Guildwars and WoW quicker then Elder scrolls and im still playing Oblivion!!!
