| | | I'm in Oblivion, running from daedra down by the shore of one of the lava seas. I notice that way out in the distance is an island. There's just GOT to be some big secret out there, I figure. I follow the shore to where a chain of islands stretches toward the horizon with BIG stretches of lava between. A combination of water walking and fire resistance scrolls & potions carries me further and further from the main island, exploring each smaller island as I go. By the last island I'm running low on potions and scrolls and I've eaten deeply into my strategic reserve of healing potions, but it's GOT to be worth it, right? Nope, completely empty. Oh yeah, that was a good idea...

| | | It was early in the game and I was walking through the Imperial City Market district when a Mythic Dawn agent attacked me. I turned around to take a swing and accidently hit an imperial gaurd. Natuaraly, this got me in trouble, so i took care of the agent and the gaurd and attempted to get away. I couldnt get away and soon i was in a large brawl. Now, i began swinging randomly while headed for a gate. I managed to get away and i was proud of the destruction i had left behind while escaping alive. But this soon bit me in the butt. I had killed more than half the store owners of the market district and at least four people that were vital to different quests. The good news is that they were only side quests.

| | | Embarassment... Eating poisonous plants...that's good.
I found a unicorn and decided to ride it to the nearest town. Little did I know that it was regarded as a wandering monster so the local gate sentries attacked it. The unicorn fought back and then attacked me! I was really confused, but I wanted it as my steed. It took me a few re-loads to figure out the reasons it does what it does. I eventually dropped the idea...but not the corpse loot.

| | | Some hero I had just close down the gate to Oblivion from Kvatch, saved Martin and I was returning with him to Weynon Priory. On the road I met an Imperial Legion soldier. He says "It's you! The hero from Kvatch!". I thought "Wow. I'm famous. my good deed got out". And then he arrests me for having a stolen apple on me. I had no other ingredients to combine it with for a potion and had the stupidity not to eat it. |

| | | And another one I was at the start of the game. I completed the "Unfair competition" quest in the Imperial City, which took me several game days because there is a lot of waiting to do. In the mean time, while stalking my targets, I used the time for some leveling up. So I conjured skeletons until I reached the level of Master in Conjuration, expert in Mysticism, I created tens of potions, ran around like a fool for some athletic skill, etc. So i jumped from level 2 to level 16. After completing the quest i headed out of the city to the nearest fort thinking to kill some goblins or bandits with my new skills. To my surprise, in the ruins of the fort I saw a blue creature. Little i knew it was a frost atronach. The arrow I shot at him just annoyed him so it ran to me and teared me to pieces in a moment. To my horror I discovered that all the creatures have leveled up with me and instead of goblins and easy bandits I have to fight Daedra, huge bears and other monsters. No need to say I was no match for them. |

| | | So I was running away from an Ogre when I decided to jump on one of the ropes on a nearby bridge to get a clear shot at him with my bow (my body was perpendicular to the rope). I then decided that I needed a health boost, so I slammed down a bottle of Daedric Lava Whiskey and, well, let's just say that I won't be having kids anytime soon. |

| | Warning, Spoilers:
I was doing the quest where you have to find some ladies husband because he went missing (He owed a lot of money to some Orc). You find the Orc, talk to him and he tells you that he'll let her husband go if you go to an old fort and find a special axe for him. So you get into a boat to go to the fort and then go inside, and then the gate falls down behind you and then you find the womans husband it turns out youve been tricked and you have to go through some cave with people in who have payed the orc money to hunt a human (you). I killed the guys, got outside to find the orc killing the man who went missing and then he turns on me. I kill him and his henchman, get the key to escape from the ruined fort. The key dosent go to the actual fort gate, theres a door somewhere back inside the cave that has the switch behind it. I spent about half an hour wandering around inside that cave looking for the locked door... I went all the back to the back of the cave a few times and back, looking everywhere for a door in the floor or a secret lever. The door was about 5 feet away from the entrance to the cave...
And then when I went back to the woman my reward was a book worth 75 gold. Plus, My assasin character who I did the quest with is a complete weakling at combat, and those men in the cave werent exactly easy to kill...
