| | | Is anyone experiencing... ... occasional shut downs of the game? What happens is that the game just crashes to desktop. No lag prior to it, nothing. It runs rather smooth on my PC, I have it on about medium settings and am pleased with it, but this is somewhat annoying. I was wondering if it is the RAM, I have 1Gb of it but still ... anyone? |

| | | I've heard rumors of a memory leak, but nothing is confirmed.

| | Ah, I see.
It is bugging me to be honest, because there is no indication whatsoever what could be the cause, and the memory seems like the only explanation right now ... interesting.
Fable, you don't mind mentioning it here if you hear anything even semi-confirmed please?

| | | It shut down on me once. I am running a Pentium4, 3.2Ghz, 2GB RAM, ATI X800XL. OS is XP Pro.
Game is running quite smoothly; however, I paused the game, walked away for about an hour, when I came back, my computer had rebooted. The window said "serious error".
The last time that happened with another game, it was a Temp file that caused it. So I ran Faronics System Cleaner and so far it hasn't reoccurred. |

| | Darned if it didn't happen again during a quest. No slowing down, no warning, just crashed and rebooted. Another screen pops up showing system error.
Weird.
Anyone else having this problem? |

| | | Crashing Yeah, I've gotten the blue screen of death a few times, too, and I've only played for about 4 hours.

| | | Yup, had another one just an hour ago, almost quit for the day, but luckily pressed F5 two second prior to it. Gah.

| | | If you are getting blue screens while playing... it's possible your power supply isn't up to the task.
This game is _seriously_ demanding... it will be pulling _max_ juice from your PS... so if you skimped a bit when grabbing that power supply... now might be a good time to upgrade ;-)
That said... I have had the game crash to the desktop a couple of times (in the _many_ hours I've already put into it)... but no blue-screens or reboots.
