glitches?

Has anyone had problems leveling up in the conjuration skill? I am at 24, trying to get to 25 to be able to summon real critters, but the game crashes whenever I do that last spell to get to 25. Was wondering if it was my video card, but the game hasn't crashed whenever I've leveled up in other skills. Thoughts?

Also, I downloaded the Mehrunes Razor mod, but how do I access that area? Does Varsa Balim appear as a map marker or what?

I had this problem in my first game. Got to level 24 in conjuration and then whenever I cast bound helm (my only low level spell I had for that skill) it would crash the game. I got past it by cheating my conjuration up one point. Go into the command console (use the tilde key) and type in the following:

Advancepcskill conjuration 1

I also recently downloaded the latest patch and the Mahrune's Razor plug-in. I got the patch installed okay but I get an error message every time I try to install the plug-in. Gives me error message 6002, I think, and tells me to empty my temporary files folder, get out of any programs running in the background and check my internet connection. None of that seems to help. Not sure what programs I have running in the background other that AOL for my internet connection and McAfee Antivirus/Firewall. I have a Konica Minolta printer hooked to the PC but no print jobs pending. I finally gave up on it. Didn't have this problem with loading any of the other plug-ins (horse armor, theif den and orrery). Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

If you have fully downloaded the Mod and placed in the right places, make sure you have it enabled on the DATA FILES section when you AUTOPLAY Oblivion.
