Since there are a few new members in the forum, or have returned, I want to post up this poll again, just for fun 
Mine is the Altmer (High Elf), mainly because I LOVE magic, and also I think they are very attractive. |

I also like Altmers and Bosmers a lot.
I'm so so on Redguards and Nords, because I don't really care for more fighter-oriented characters.
I just can't get into Imperials for some reason; I'm not sure why, but they bore me.
While I have thought about it, I've never been able to play Argonians or Khajiits; ditto for orcs. Basically because I tend to create characters that portray certain elements of myself... so playing a cat or lizard doesn't really work.. and I'm neither big nor brawny, so I can't really play orcs either. 
I think, if I were to pick a Morrowind race that most closely ressembles me, it would be either a Breton or Dunmer. The former because I'm inclined towards the metaphysical and mysticism, and I have a lot of Celtic blood. Dunmer.. because I'm attracted to darkness....

| | When I would have to choose the race that fits my own personality best, I think bosmer would be the good choice. It's small, it looks cute, but it can bite hard

| | | Bosmer, as well. I don't like them so much for the bonusses though because those are not great. But Bosmer, they're sneaky, they'd rather shoot you from afar instead of duking it out with you. They're the perfect burglars/assassins.

| | | I personally think that Imperial or Dunmer characters fit in better with some of the quests than the other races (i.e Imperial Cult/legion and house Indoril, Telvanni and Redoran)
Edit - Indoril is the Temple - i.e. indoril armour. Hlaalu is the only house whose councillors are not dunmer

Why wouldn't other races fit so well? Could you please explain what you are meaning with that?
In Morrowind.. it doesn't matter on how you look like.. it is just like this.. ''do you have those skill's that we want? Good..'' So in Morrowind you can be whatever you want if you have the right skills.. |

well my name used to be Darc_Elv_Nyte, so i guess my name speaks for my choice
i like dark elves because they look cool, and have the nice hairstyles (i.e the long hair and the spikes) the other races have them too, but i think it looks best on the Dark Elves

| | | bretons are my vote. its the combonation of high magical resistance (great for avoiding "drain attribute spells" which i hate) high magical bonuses and most of the bretons in the game are pretty decent folk.
second place is the dunmer. the combonation of the appearance and the race specific bonuses are pretty decent. add the sign of the atronach and you're laughing.

| | | Definately had to vote Breton. Their racial Magic bonus/resistance abilities are pretty "sweet" (for lack of a better adjective).
