Waaaaaaaa!!!(could be spoilerish)

Waaaaaa!! so just been named urshilako(not sure about spelling) nerevarine, and on to become ahemmusa nerevarine cleaned the ald velothi, and then follow the wise woman from ahemmusa to ald velothi so she can name me ahemmusa nerevarine, BUT....

On the way there,(i swimmed she water walked) we encounter a cliffracer, shouldn't be a problem so i just let the wise woman deal with the cliffracer, cause can't do anything myself cause i'm in the water, BUT the GOD DAMNED cliffracer kills her!!!!(could kill a cliffracer at lvl1 with two hits!!!)

How the h*** could a wise woman not kill a lousy cliffracer!!!

Does anybody know if i can do anything else, so i don't have to load a savegame aoen's ago....

The best advice i can give you, is press F5 a LOT, like in every 5 minutes or something. It happened to me as well, except in my case the wise woman got killed by a friggin Slaughterfish.

It was no big loss, i saved the game right before going into the water. But if you don't use the quicksave function on a regular basis, you can make things very hard for yourself, like you've just found out.

enchant an item with a ranged heal spell, use it a lot, or use the heal companion spell a lot...you can get that at balmora temple.

i also hardly ever swim, a constant effect shoes of water walking is mandatory.

If you know the route you're going to escort it's good thought to travel it alone first killing all dangerouus around and leaving corpses laying. It seems there is sometimes a creature or two supposed to spawn if you are escorting somebody, or so i guess, altogether very rare. Escorting somebody without it is just a pain (i'm not going to tell you where ) otherwise. Their bravery do not match their ability, and most often they are just blocking your directrise if you aren't lucky enough to finish the attacker with one hit. It's a bit better with later patches (or Bloodmoon) - the attackers tend to turn on PC if he's in the range of reach, alltogether it's not much of help if you're an archer or a mage. There's no ranged fighters on my memory among the escortable NPC.
Conjuration may help, too, altogether there is a long enough pause between the enconter starts and summoned minions discover the attacker. Not on the water, of course, the do not know how to waterwalk or to fly, even the Twilights.

Just make yourself a CE walk on water item or levitate item to wear and escort her in style. Then use a bow to kill any cliffracers you encounter.

I cannot stress SOS (save often stupid) enough as I have been victimized by my own arrogance on many occations. Nothing is more frustrating than spending 30-60 min on a quest and then have the damn game lockup, get stuck, or get caught stealing, etc. causing you to have to start over. I can't tell you ha0ow many times this has happened. Sometimes the XBOX goes for hours without locking up and sometime it locks up once every 10min.
