hi i,m tired of doing the main quest over n over again. so i was thinking of becoming a vampire so my question is can i become like the vampire lord or do i fight a king of vampires or someting or is it a waste of time. so spit it out or hit the road.

i've never been a vampire so i dont know for sure but i think you can become the head of what ever vampire clan and get certain magic items that can only be found if your a vampire.

Dont become a Vamp unless you want to totally screw up your main game. unless you want to take the back way out. If you become a vamp nobody talks to you, even Casius or whatever his name is

yeah but you can get cured then do main quest get all the benifits of being a vampire then get cured

Well there are plugins that will allow you to keep Vampire bonusses after cured.. But i am not sure but generally those things are sort of cheating..

There is potion wich will make you vampire.. well it is also plugin..but that will make thinsg easy for those guys who have done corprus cure part of game..

I was a vamp for a bit. The character was very strong but there are many downsides. First, you will join one of three clans depending on who bit you. You can go to the clans HQ or one of their lairs. The problem for me was getting infected. I went to the HQ and it took over 15 tries to become infected by the leader. The problem, I had killed everyone else. This meant no services, so i could not repair without stealing. Second, the biggest reason I disliked being a vamp was the long travel times. You walk everywhere and it has to be dark outside or you get hurt. You can get cured, just go to Bal Ur to find out how. You lose all the extra stats but keep whatever you leveled. Hope that helps.

If you have problems with travelling, just use the Propylon chambers in the Dunmer Strongholds, just get all the the Indexes first.

Well, I've tried the vampire path a couple of times, and I thought it was an ENORMOUS time - I'd try it for yourself, but it's a real snoozer. Sorry.
