Trapping the soul of a Goddess . . . .

I'm at the end of the Mournhold Quest, and I have just fought & killed Almalexia. I ran a regular Gem-feeder scroll/Grand Soul Gem trap on her and it failed. Can I trap her with that set-up, or do I have to have Azura's star to trap the soul of a God? I saved right before the fight, so I can go back and try again if it's worth it. Also, one other thing - what type of weapon holds the best Constant Effect Enchantment? Or is it best to go with a really heavy duty Cast WHen Strikes enchantment on your weaponry, and use the Constant Effect on your apparel?

You need the Star to hold gods.

I don't know about enchantment values.

i think the daedric dai katana has the highest enchant value....you could always head over to the ES3M forum....they have a "everything you could ever ask" thread thats been locked off....it has some decent info.
