Theives Guild Help

My friend said the theives guild is on the south wall but i cant find it. To make it even worse i cant find the woman with the rats in her attic(First mission in the fighters guild.)???

Both are across the river in balmora.

Thieves guild is past the first row of buildings and all the way to the right.

The first row of buildings has that lady you need to kill the rats with, go just a bit to the right and up her stairs and you'll find it.

Be sure to kill the one in her bedroom too.

All you need to know is that the South Wall isn't a wall, it's a building, a pub to be precise. (Yes, that's what happened to me on my first game)

Try using the local map that appears in the top right hand corner of your screen. Each building entrance has a little yellow square by it, if you hover your mouse over the top of it it gives you the name of the building.

I keep getting problems with this quest - the rats dont spawn. However, this may be because of various codes and mods.
