The murder of Ralan Hlaalo

I come into the Hlaalo Manor, and there, a guy comes falling down the satirs. i go up, and find his shocked servant in a room, and she gives me the description of the murderer. I ask around, and ppl say it could be THalen Velas, which hangs around the council club. But he claims that the Blades trainer and member, Nine Toes did it. I ask around more, and many ppl think that Nine Toes killed him. Nine Toes say that he is innocent, and that some1 is telling those rumors, because he is Argonian.

Thats how far I have come in the thing i hope is a quest, with a reward. But I cant come any further! Could someone please hint me how i can get further with my investigation?

There are no Argonian bad guys in this game AFAIK.

Though it may be so, that doesn't help me any further, she still say the same! What should i do? Kill the bastard? No, thats murder, and then i wont get any reward! What should I say, and to whom?

Hears who it is Thalen Velas If you want to kill him then taunt him first. In my last game i killed Nine Toes. But Thalen Velas is the man you want. And to not get a bounty upon you, taunt him into a battle. He tough for a character below level three cuz he has a dwarven war axe

I know how to kill him (I learned it 1 hr ago from these forums) with no bounty, but i want to know if there are any way to get a reward for solving it?

Yup, Go to the Hiallu Council in balmora. And talke to the person by some shrubs. She will give you 1000 gold, and put a good word in for you in House Hiallu

in the murderers description it says dunmer not argonian thats how i knew it was thalen

well doing the quest is relatively easy, just taunt and maim, but what i've pondered as well is that i haven't found a way to make him confess/gather evidence other than the eye witness, which is incriminating but is there other way to bring the murdered to justice other than taunting and then killing him?

Incidently, he's also part of Larus Vario's problem (he's at Ft. Moonmoth). Talk to him about work.
