Unhappy Starting questions!!

Hey, Im sorry to ask such a noobish question but.. Morrowinds not working for me, so I thought maybe someone could help me out..

Ok, so I borrowed Morrowind from my friend (not GOTY) and I installed it and the installer worked normally with no problems. But when I opened the launcher and clicked play, it wouldnt start and this window opened saying "Morrowind has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveince." My pc able to play this game, and I have installed it multiple times, but it doesnt work. Im putting in a screen shot of this, and of the data the error report contained.

I thought it might have been the disc itslf, but my friend tells me he uses that disc on his computer, so it should be working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

I'm just hazarding a guess here, but are your drivers up to date?
Are you sure you have sufficient space on your hard drive? Does your computer give you an error message with other software, or is it just Morrowind causing the problem?

Also, am I understanding you correctly in that you've previously run the game with no problem?
Or, have you not been able to run it yet? If you haven't been able to get it working at all yet, it might help if you posted your computer's stats. For example: RAM? Processor? Video Card? Operating System (i.e XP or Vista?) etc.

Its only morrowind that has this problem. Other things are ok. Im sure I have enough space for this.

Im running on an XP with full capability to play this game, and I wonder why it wont work.

Did you view the technical information? If so what did it say?

Wait, would I need to register online? Because it asked me if I wanted to before it was done installing.

That's an extremely useful link. You might want to post it in the Morrowind Yellow Pages sticky.
