Can someone tell me the quickest way to Hla'ad and also I joined the Blades and I cannot for the life of me remember who the Guild guy was and which town he is in. (maybe Balmora???)

Um ok, your guild contact in the blades is Caeis Caseda or something, and he lives in Balmora in the North-East corner of town.

Hla Oad is a little crappy fishing village southwest of Balmora. If this is what you're talking about, then start in Balmora, go south down the river. When the bank gets steep follow a very faint track through a little pass in the mountain going South-West, Hla Oad is right in front of you as you come off the moutain - but dont blink or you'll miss it. As one of the natives says - "if you've seen a boat or two and a couple of shacks, you've seen Hla Oad."

edit: BTW if you're near Vivec there is Strider service to Hla Oad, probably that's the fastest way.

The journal may not be the easiest thing to navigate--to put it mildly--but it should list "Blades," and under it, your contact, and his location.

He's the first mission you get in the game. Deliver the package (in the character creation bit I think it was)..and thus kick off the plot in the game..so if you missed him you went off wandering pretty quickly I guess
Lives in Balmora, you'll get his precise location from someone in the Southwall Corner club.

Go to the South Wall inn in Balmora, and ask around in there. You'll know you have the right contact when a Roman-looking name pops up in your coversational choices. Your contact will tell you how to find him.
