| | | SMoother Gameplay... So I've tried everything I know to try and reduce the number of times the game pauses to load (without a little loading area bar at the bottom...I'm talking just random events)
What I'm asking though is how can I get Morrowind to run smoother? I've already pared down the detail in the attempt, but it still locks up every once in a while...I've closed most of the background programs...the ones it will let me close at least. I have also stopped running so much, but whenever I do run for even just a few seconds, the game sort of locks up and I have to wait as much as 15 seconds for it to give me control again...at which time, I am vulnerable to attack...
Any suggestions? |

| | | You're running on a PC, correct? What's your RAM, your Windows system, and your CPU?

| | | That's odd, because your system is good enough to never stutter like that. Are you running any mods, and if so, which ones?
And do you have anti-virus protection running in the background?

Or maybe he has never defragged it. |
