Propylon Index

Ok, I'm confused, how do I get these? Not, where are the actual indices, but how do I get the quest to get them ... ? Or do I just take them and they work automatically?

On a side note, anybody know of a decent Samurai mod? The only one I've got so far is this (admittedly pretty awesome) Samurai hat mod, but that's about it. Mainly I'd like to know where I might find samurai robes and a samurai katana.

Well I too am confused about the Propylon Indices so I can't help you there, however here is a link to samurai mods http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/modcontrols/mods.asp the one mod called "my samurai mod" sounds interesting and might be what you are looking for, it is the fourth mod down the page.

I hope this helps somewhat!

EDIT: The link doesn't want to work, it just sends you to the main page. =/ Well when you get there click on the search icon and type in samurai in the title selection and click "Go" and it should open the correct page, sorry the link didnt work. =/

That link takes you to Morrowind Summit--and yes, it's not possible to do a direct link to a specific entry in their database. Just type "samurai" in the appropriate search field, use description instead of author or title, and hit search. I found ten results.

As for the Propylon Indices: there's one mage guild where a member on the second floor will speak to you about them. He will offer to make a teleportation device for you if you acquire all the appropriate indices. I didn't make 'em a priority, but discovered one at the actual site of a Propylon Chamber, somewhere on the West Coast at the top of a ruins.

There is also an official mod for the Propylon Indices.

But that's only with the mod. I don't think this guy has the mod.

Without the mod you can still use the Indexes. You just have to find them without help.

The indices sort of work like keys. Each propylon chamber has two teleporter devices. Both lead to another propylon chamber.

Let's say you are in Falasmaryon Propylon Chamber. One of the propylons leads to Valenvaryon and the other to Berandas. Now if you have the indices for those chambers you can teleport to them. So in order to activate a propylon you need to have the index for the chamber where it leads.
