| | | Problem with the Zainab Ashkhan
Hi ! So, following the main quest, I have become a Hortator of the three Houses and three tribes have named me Nerevarine. However, I have a problem with the Zainab. I can talk to the Ashkhan, but I canīt make him offer me a quest. Heīll just do some small talk. I bribed his sympathy level up to 100, I talked to his wise woman, no avail. What do I have to do so that he offers me a quest ? |

| | | Well, I did talk to the wise woman, but she tells me to go straight ahead to the ashkhan because he is so very interested in my exploirs. She never said anything about talking to his retainers. |

| | | Just go talk to everyone else anyway...the Ashlander part of the game seems to be the one most easily broken by not doing everything exactly according to plan. You might be able to recover by talking to everyone else...just a thought.

| | | Maybe you can try again. IIRC, you have to talk to the guarherder about a different place to stay. I think the discussion subject had the word 'place' in it. The thing is, because of the blight storms the Zainab tribe is looking for a different camp site a bit further away from the red mountain. And guess who is going to help them? After you have talked about this with the herder, go talk to the wise woman.
I hope this helps, it must be terrible to get stuck in the main quest this way.

@MordorMan : I think you are talking about one of the other Ashlander tribes, I remember doing that. You have to clean out a temple there, where some Ordinators fight with a bunch of Daedra worshippers. Been there, done that. |

| | | Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that was the Zianab tribe. It is near impossible to remember all those names in Morrowind and to keep them apart!
I do know how to make a highlightable spoiler, I tried it myself after having seen Uncle Scratchy do it. Black is not in the list but if you use [color=black] than it will work. Take care to post such a spoiler after a message with a grey background. I don't know what the name of the dark grey background colour is.

| | I'm also having trouble with this. I can't get past the Zainab quest. What are you sopposed to do? What did you guys do to pass the quest? I think I have talked to everyone in the camp, although 2 people are missing (they have houses but they are not anywhere to be found)....

Did u enter the ashkhan's yurt and then talked to him about "Nerevarine" ?
I'm quite sure that he was the one who gave u a quest where u have to kill a vampire.
P.S the wise woman will give u advice on his NEXT quest, after you've done the one mentioned above. (I think)

| | | i spoke to saynari (sp?) in vivec and he gave me the key when I was neverarine of the first tribe and hortator of redoran only. Then I got 'a certain gauntlet' and did the house and tribe quests with the thing on my hands |

I spoke to the women in vivec but she says i'm not recognised as nerevarine by all the tribes ...
maybe the console or the SET Constructions could be of some help??
