oh nos! i have a n00b question!

Can someone tell me how to make it so i can take a screenshot please?

Go into your morrowind.ini file and change the command line:

Screen Shot Enable=0

into

Screen Shot Enable=1

Then use the "print screen" function on your computer. I don't remember if you need to hold "shift", as well.
