Need help! I've been kicked out of the mage guild

This really sucks I don't even know what I did. They told me to talk to the mage guild in vivic but I've been searching vivic for 2 hours now and I still haven't found the mage guild.

well, the mage guild in vivec is in the very top story of the foreign quarter, which is the northernmost quarter in Vivec. Go up to the top level and make sure the door the go through is a big arched door with step leading up to it. You'll see the fighters guild and a smith, then you'll know you're in the right place.

thanks one of the guards told me it was in the canal. I guess thats what got me so lost.
