Main Quest Help (Cant find pottery book)

Ok, been playing this awsome game for a little while now and I've gone though a couple phases of the main quest. The last thing I did was go to that huge town called Vivee or something and had to talk to three people, get information, then return it to the spymaster.

My next mission is to get info from another dude in a town called Ald something. I found the guy but I also need to get him a present so he will like me and talk to me. He indicated that he likes pottery and would like a pottery book.

I cannot find that book for the life of me! I've searched though the whole town numerous times and now my only hope is that someone who reads this has already gotten past this part. Please help me! Thanks.

Arg. Im such a moron.

Its completly possible, even quite likely, that I would make such a stupid mistake on my own, but how is it that several of my friends who were watching me play also misread? I even had them play and talk to the guy and look around town for the book. None of them noticed. Prehaps its because they expected to see pottery since thats what I told them I was looking for.

Amazing how simply reading more carefully could have saved me hours of time, and a bad headache. A hard lesson. Hopefully I don't repeat the mistake again anytime soon.

Either way, words cannot express my gratitude to you for pointing out the obvious and steering me in the right direction. If I knew you in real life, I would give you a dollar. Since that is not possible I give you my heartfilled thanks. Thanks!
