Long Bow

Does anyone know where i can find/ buy a magical long bow. I bought the bound spell while screwing around and realized how good they are. Does anyone know where i can find/buy one. I am only level 3 mind you.

Well, I suggest you stick with the bound bow spell. That's the best.

At least, use that until your level is high enough to travel to Ghostgate. There's a NPC in there with Auriel's Bow, which is really good and enchantable, but you need to either pick pocket, or, more likely, kill the owner. (I think it was Ghostgate...) Also, you will get a bow during the main quest.

What level would i have to be to kill that npc?

Is there anyplace that would just sell a plain Long bow then?

If you have the official Bethesda plugin called "area effect arrows", you'll find a fletchershop in the Foreign Quarter in Vivec. You can buy (or steal) a Daedric longbow there, and all sorts of arrows, bolts, throwing knives and such other ranged items.

I was at level 3 myself when i managed to steal the longbow from the shop, and it made life much easier from there on.

You should be able to buy bows in many shops or fighting orientated guilds, like Fighter's Guild and Imperial Legion. You can also kill smugglers or skelton archers in caves and root their body for bows and arrows.

To kill the NPC in Ghostgate shouldn't be too difficult, if you are high level enough to acrually reach Ghostgate. However, you need to taunt her (or, was that a man? ) to avoid being a murderer, and that could be tricky for low level (=less personality) character.
