Well i am new player and have problem where can i buy lockpicks in citys as far ihave visited many shops??? or is there some cheats to get this item as all chests are locked some level

Hi, there. Welcome to GameBanshee.

Well, you can buy lockpicks and probes at Thieves' Guild, or someone belong to the Guild.

Also, if you go to bandits caves, you usually get some of those in different qualities. The easiest one is near Sayda Neen, but there are so many caves around, and should not be difficult to find.

I can't recall any normal shops sells those, unless they are run buy either Thieves Guild members or Commona Tong. You see, shop keepers don't want to help burglars by selling lockpicks. He might come back that night to break into his house!

I'm at my office and my brain is currently occupied by other game, so I can't help too much detail right now. I'm sure someone else will show up soon enough, though.

Well problem is that i am a Balmora thief member but the boss refuse to sell me anything as i am too low level and there isnt anybody else that sell anything only training and chatting=( second prob is that i dont how to recodnice other thiefs in the citys that i could kill to get one?

Nileno Dorvayn at the hlaalu council thing (on top of the hill)in balmora sells picks, probes and offers training

Someone at Morag Tong quild hall in Vivec sells master picks,i am quite sure of it.The best seller is still probably the one at the Hlaalu council in Balmora.

go to suran, in the big house you should find someone who will sell you masterlock picks

go to hecerinde's house in balmora on the water front i do believe you run into him ltr in thieves guild quests but he will offer training in security (you can go to 100 if u got the gold) and he sells secret master picks/probes i dont know which is btr though grandmaster (ther is one in the eight plates or lucky loc up on table near woman) or secret but i do know that if you kill gentleman jim stacey when your done with guild quests you can get a skeleton key of his corpse i have tried it yet cuz i can use an aprrentic pik to opena lvl 100 but its worth is at 500 so it must kik arse.

I think the most public way is to ask around in either Eight Plates corner club or Lucky Lockup (both in balmora).

I believe the other khajit in the Corner Club (the one down stairs from Sugar-Lips) sells an array of probes and lock picks.

Generally asking a character about their background reveals whether a character is a member of the the thieves guild or not, members generally tell you.
