Killing Qorwynn? What will happen?

I’m so tried of dealing with Qorwynn. My spell only works for a few minutes and I have to start over again to get ONE training. What a headache!
Doing one of my sessions with him, I accidentally I killing him. Will it come up later in the game if I killed this character and mess up the game where I have to go back again?

When I killed him, I checked him and he had some nice stuff on him.

Back at Wolverine Hall, I was getting my training in Illusion. Is there a difference? I might move up on a higher level faster in a session, still why put up such a Headache!

The Master Trainer for Enchant is Qorwynn . Be aware that Qorwynn is hostile, and will attack you on sight. A Calm spell may be needed in order to receive training from him. Unfortunately, there are very few other trainers of this skill, and none that are particularly noteworthy.
Enchant and Illusion are 2 different skills.
You might want to go back to a previous save and try the calm spell on him.

Thank you for that information. I will go back. I don't want to mess things up. And yes, I use the spell on him, but it only last for a few minutes and I have to start over again him; which is hard.

Yeah, it is extremely frustrating, but he is the only master level trainer for enchant in the game.

However gaining skill levels in enchant isn't too difficult. Make sure you have plenty of soul gems, enchant weapons with soul trap (and i mean like every weapon you find), and use spells that include soul trap (e.g. a spell that does both soul trap for 5 seconds and frost or fire damage for 4 seconds for as much damage as you can manage). If you keep enchanting items at every opportunity, along with using gems to recharge items, your enchant skill will fly up.

You, see I;m only a Evoker. I can't get the highter members of the Mages to talk to me until I'm at least a conjurer. For now, I can't buy a spell to soul trap. Thats why was looking for way of gaining skills or training to leveling up.

There's a shop in Tel Branora that sells infinite numbers of petty, lesser and common soul gems. Greater and Grand are a bit harder to find, unless you have Tribunal, in which case there's a guy upstairs in the Craftsmen's hall who sells infinite numbers of those.

The enchanters in the Vivec and Sadrith Mora mage guilds don't care about rank and will deal with anyone.

I usually get lots of gems and soultrap all rats/racers/mudcrabs/hounds, I come across early in the game, this seems to be an easy way to raise your stats, of course they are weak soulgems but every little bit helps.

Once you do gain enough rank in the mage's guild, Skink in the Sadrith Mora chapter will train your Enchant up to around 60.
If I'm looking to reach 100 in Enchant, I will get Skink to train me, and then I'll make up the rest using the method Galraen describes.

Ajira can train you up to 40+, and you can succesfully enchant weapons at 30+. Rings and amulets can be slightly more tricky, the general rule of thumb I use is to only enchant up to about 50% of the available power the ring/amulet and charges the gem allows. I've found I can enchant an extravagant ring with fortify skill +100 for 3 seconds quite successfully.

Thank you; everyone. I just want to soul trap so bad, and can't wait to try it for myself.
