| | | How do I beat these stupid Dwemer Centurion Archers? Ok first of all, Hi, I'm Mike, I'm new here. I've been lurking around here the past few days hoping to find the answer I'm looking for, but no luck. I'm on the "show of power" quest in Tribunal right now, and I can't get past the Centurion Archers in Bamz-Amschend. I've tried strafing around them like the walkthrough suggested, but if I dodge one, the others kill me. I've tried levitating over them and using spells on them, but they dont seem to do enough damage, and they kill me anyway. I've got a level 42 character with the difficulty set on 80, and I'm about ready to crank the difficulty down to 0 and try again, but before I do it the cheap way I wanted to see if anybody had a strategy that worked for them. Any suggestions? |

| | | Try chameleon with levitate and they might not see you. You could also try shooting them with a bow. You might need training and a decent bow and arrows though. I haven't actully done this yet so this is the best I can think of.

| | | I manged to kill one a little bit ago by throwing hellfire scrolls at him and then quickly ducking back into the entrance, but i forgot about the other one and he killed me. Who knew that you could be so vulnerable with a full set of ebony armor? |

| | | Have you tried area of effect spells?
If fire magic works on them, maybe enchant a ring with a fire attack that casts over a wide area.
Or maybe try an assortment of elemental magic? Those things are metal... how about shock?
Or perhaps a combination of paralyse and poison would work?
Just some thoughts, I haven't actually done this yet myself.

| | | If I remember, the hellfire scrolls give the target a 12% weakness to fire, do immediate fore damage on target and then some additional damage within a 10 ft radius. I had some scrolls that caused shock damage and paralysis for 6 secs too but I ran out of them. Throwing magic at them and then retreating seems most effective right now, but I still havent managed to kill both of them. Those darts are deadly! |

| | | thanks for the tips guys, it looks like I'm just going to have to keep at the attack and hide strategy I came up with earlier. The walkthrough made it seem like the other enemies in Bamz-Amschend were slightly less powerful, is that true? |

| | | Or you could go down earlier, when the machines are attacking the fabricants and take them out then...
They won't be aiming soley at you... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
