| | | Hlaalu Land Deed Ok, so if were retarded and managed to kill the guy in the vaults (whatever his name is) and can't buy the deed from him... is there a backway to get it? like somewhere i can buy/steal/find it?
I got the construction thing and yada yada yada... just need the land deed... i have the ascadian isles deed... but that does me absolutely notin when i talk to dira(whatever his name is) in balmora... so... is there somewhere else to get the land deed you need to build the stronghold for Hlaalu? |

| | | nope. not unless you are on PC and have the code for it... but no doubt in 3 min someone will pop up in 2 minuets and tell you precisely how to do that.

| | | Well damn... that really sucks.... guess i'll have to keep my house in Balmora... anyone know where a nice place i can take over is? Like that is big, lots of tables, easily accessible, and you can travel many places from there? Right now i use the old armorer across from the mages guild... but does anyone suggest a different house somewhere else? Balmora is nice becasue of how its not far to the mages guild to teleport, not far to the silt strider either.
Open to any suggestions to what i should do.
(I'm not starting a new character either... i have too much time into this guy) |

| | Ahem.... I shall restrain myself from my long speech about how great my two houses are and I'll just tell you the short and sweet version... Nerano and Hlaalu Manors. Those are the absolute best. There's only one slave lady in the Hlaalu Manor, but I keep her locked up quietly with a book to read. And in Nerano, there's that rich snobbish dude but I killed him because (spoiler?) he wouldn't give me the key.(Theives Guild quest.)
Anyways... I've posted books on here about how much I love those two houses. I have a stronghold from House Telvanni, but I don't use it. I've become too attached to my Manors.

| | | To Majorgunhoe: Land deed Well, dude. If you are looking for more houses... Join the Morag Tong and kill you way up. You will eventually get to kill Serano family of the Redroran House. On the Redraron Plaza, in Redraron Canton in Vivic, find the Serano Manor. The entire family will try to kick your butt, as you are a member of Morag Tong. Kill all the members in that manor and you will get it for yourself. It's a 2-floor and multiple room. Just make sure you bring the writ (the legal claim of the kill, written on a paper with a sigille), to show the guards after the kill. Trust me, you would like it. Your own manor in Redraron Canton. Make you special if you are a member of Hlaalu House.

| | | If you're in Telvanni you get missions to kill off the people in the Hlaalu and Redoran strongholds. You could take them over then.
I would assume, therefore, that you, as a Hlaalu, can go kill the people at Bal Isra and Uvirith's Grave and take their stringholds for yourself. |

| | | Strongholds Well, killing the noble who hands the land deed is a mistake. I agree with that.
In Seyda Neen, you can take over the shack from the Dunmer who killed the tax collector. That's the first base I start from, when I start the game.
Nerano Manor... but there's the maid who still lives there, or do you kill her too? Besides, I really don't like to have a corp in the floor in my manor... Otherwise, the manor is very nice.

| | If you are in the Fighters' Guild in Balmora, you get to kill a female Orc, Barbarian outlaw. I forgot her name... Anyway her house is close to the Theives' Guild (South Wall Corner Club). Her house isn't a manor, with big tables or like that. But it a nice cozy home in Balmora.

| Well the maid is in her own little room so it's easy to close the door and leave her there ignorant of the rest of the world. As for the corpse it can easily be removed. |

When I first got the house I robbed it from everything (including the corpses clothes), so I had a naked dead guy lying on my floor. I put a pair of pants on him.

So I learned from another one of these stronghold threads. I was, however, unaware at the time of my writing. |

| | I agree with Unregisturd, since I'm a Xboxer myself. Killing the murderer is a nice mission though. And that manor is NOT Nerano Manor, it's Hlaalo Manor.
Where do you get a duty to kill that Nerano guy? I guess you have to belong to other Houses than Hlaalu House, right?
