Question HELP uncurable curse?

No, its not corprus.

I was doing the 3rd trial quest in the of the Blades Guild (the one where you goto a dungeon and steal a shadow shield, a cup, and corprus stuff. Something in that dungeon cursed me or something. What the curse does? It decreases your armor abilities (to my knowledge permanently?). It decreased my light armor skill to 11 from 60 or something, all the other armor skills decreased to 1. I have no red icons at the bottom right and no one says I have a disease (I think im immune to all diseases since the corprus mission). Ive tried restoring every attribute, curing poison, common, and blight, resting numerous hours, and some some spells. NONE of them worked! Is this curable? Is this a bug?

Did you try going to a temple for one of the blessings?

I just went to a temple and tried receiving a blessing. Which one do I choose? You do mean the shrines where you donate 35 for a blessing right? If so I tried most of the options unless you know of a specific blessing.

No, I don' t know of a specific blessing for your case. I was suggesting that if the problem isn't a disease (as seems to be true), then I would suggest trying every possible blessing in succession, checking to see which (if any) works.

I think I know what wrong... I think I have the blight disease but somehow I cant cure it. When i goto a shrine it wont allow me to cure poison or common because I dont have it, but it still allows me to cure blight disease even though I shouldnt have any disease. I also just noticed that my endurance and willpower have also been decreased... I think it was a bug.

say, did you pick up a wonky two handed sword called fury???

if so youre screwed....

i cant remember where it is, but i ended up reloading to a earlier saved game...there are patches and fixes out there, but this is the only way you can lose skill points...all diseases are curable with cure potion, temple, and then use restore will power, etc spells gotten from temple in morag mar...

but fury will decrease SKILLS for armor and others perminently...avoid this piece of trash at all costs...unless you go for a third party patch...do a search on this forum, i asked the same question about a month ago...

but for diseases, including vampire ism, just talk to a normal npc, and if tehy dont go "ewww...get away from me!!!" you dont have a disease, and cure common, and cure blight will always work..after corpus, you can dump potions, you are immune...only spells that affect attributes will hit you, and keening, for some strang reason can drain speed (I think, not 100% sure) if you equipp for a while and change to a diff weapon....

I had the same sword do the exact same thing to me, i was fortunate enough to save it before hand. As i recall it is in a room straight in front of you when you walk down some stairs...i actually dumped half the stuff in that room but for some reason in the process the equipment got stuck in the wall above the door...it was quite bizaare

On the issue of loosing stats, is there anywhere on the game that has a large supply of restore agility? The one spell that mages always seem to use is lower agility and i just can't find many potions...

try to make a ring. I made one restoring every attribute save luck by 1pt in 20 sec (extravagant one), then, when enchant skil was grown, one to restore several attributes by 10 at once and for some cruical attributes 20 pt restoring ones (to cast repeatedly). The simpler ones went into Common ring - the Ring of Strength restore (at once by 20pt), the Ring of Mind Restore (at once by 38-40pt). One should consider what soul to put into it to be able to cast several times before recharging, though. Maybe you never got a ring or amulet what'd restore so much pts as a potion created by advanced alchiemist, but items restore their funcionality with time while potion or scroll is gone after use. Then, the ring is always lighter than most of potions (save but most advanced "homemade" ones).

sleepy head, go to molag mar, the temple, and talk to all the priests...you can get a restore attribute spell for every attrib you have...i always do that way early..

lore..have you played trev? or just read the hint guide to get teh amulet of flesh made whole...a really really killer item that will restore all the important ones, including agility, and has thousands of charges...actually, you are better off just going to

spoiler

berengeval in tel naga, provoke and kill her...

will also cure blight and common diseases, i think, but it sure cures a bunch of stuff, and has so many charges you can use many times if youre hit really bad and have many drainied points...

but i usually get by just fine with
heal companion, very useful for quests and pets...
restore attrib spells from molag mar
potions of cure common and cure blight at beginning...
