HELP! - Earth Song not working???

Hi! I'm currently on the Skaal mission. In the song chamber, trying to restore the earth music you're supposed hit the stalacmites, corresponding to the notes, right? How ever, I've used my Warhammer, trying to hit them but they don't make any sound at all... Neither do they sound using my sword or axe or any other weapon I've used so far... Is there like a special kind of item I have to use?

You're not supposed to hit them, simply walk up to them and use your activate key, spacebar or whatever your is. This should do it.

I had problems with the sound there. The sample has been played only once and not completly (when I entered the cave or when I loaded a game) and then there's been no sound anymore. So I always had to load the game and quickly try to repeat the pattern, before the sample started. Man, that was fun....

I also had that problem in Solstheim with my sound, it's a weird problem but it was fixed after i restarted it.
