Engraved Ring of Healing

I'm embarrassed to say that I'm on level 8 and still can't figure out how to use the Engraved Ring of Healing. I'm using X-box. I equip the ring by pressing A but have no idea how to actually use it. Thanks to anyone who can help!

It works like a spell. go into the spell list and there should be a list of enchantments and scrolls underneath all of the spells.

Have done the mini quest involoving the ring and fargoths hiding place?
If not i suggest you do. there are much better items out than that ring.

But what wing says is true it's used as a spell ither by holding down y and using the triggers to select then activate using r after realeasing y or pressing b than selecting it from your list of enchantments and spells
