| | | I changed the title of your thread. You called it "Elder Scrolls III?" when your subject is Elder Scrolls IV.
Carry on.

| | Like 'Daggerfall - The Elder Scroll II', but better grafics.
Bigger game world, like the whole Tameriel.
Able to travel between all the provinces.
Able to take a boat to Summer Islands, (Home province of the Altmers).
Able to ride a horse or having a cart with horse. Opening time on the shops.
Probably more stuffs, can't find out right now... |

| | | Things that look more like houses, not hovels or shacks or the kind of great house town designes, actual bars where you can go and stay all night while drinking and listening to some good music (Btw, being 14 i know nothing of this kind of thing) and actual hunts and you have to eat food, and when you kill an animal you get a choise when you examine them of what parts you want to take, like depending on what part of the animal it is you get different effects. But thats never going to happen.

| | | I'd say it should go in somewhat-Morrowind style, but with significantly more "orignal" NPCs, and a smoother, streamlined world.

| | | Giles, I suspect you're closer to the truth than intended. It would make sense for the Morrowind developers to see what mods the community has made, and how many in each category. That wouldn't show the whole picture of what people expect, but it would show what people enjoy and can do, themselves.
I know from prior conversations with the team that they wanted to include truly dynamic Houses and factions in ES3, but were unable to do so because of resource limitations. This is something they'll probably shoot for, again, in ES4. It's something I'd very much like to see: a shifting fabric of alliances and treacheries that actually affect the businesses and politics, and don't follow any pre-determined course. (Of course, it would have its own internal logic, but still...)

| | it should have buyable methods of transportation except you get better kinds of each kind. let me explain you should be able to get land transport the the best being something like a chariot and worst being something like a goat lol same thing with boats etc.
and you should be able to buy houses and mines and farms etc.
the fighting system should have a bit more melee involvement i.e 3-hit combos etc.

| | | new quests and new places are definately a must, but mostly i think the generic npc needs to go. as well, i would like to see an in-game, non-cheat option (ie - a very specific out of the way quest with a high difficulty) that will result in the removal of all cliff racers from the elderscrolls universe! same goes for slaughter fish. this would allow you to cruise through the wilderness without that annoying "out of nowhere" whack that slows you down, but only once you've played your way through the experience and are now more interested in exploring, questing and collecting.

| | | The story continues I have no idea how the storylines of daggerfall and morrowind are conected, if at all.
But for the new game I think it should be a bit like morrowind. The general structure at least. I think the politics and intriges should be more dynamic, as well as the storyline. I would like to see multiple possible endings. With hints and clues, so you can direct your ending a bit of course.
Indeed, they should look at alot of plug-ins and try to incorporate those, but there will always be a contruction set, so basically, they should use plug-ins that enhance rather then add races/items/npc's. Not enhaced as in more powerfull but better looking / better usable, usefull.
Especially the races, they do look ugly. And more variance in faces of peoplethat walk around. Even maybe being able to change your face and hair and more, so you can infiltrate in enemy lines to retrieve information.
And what else...
Better transportation system. Oh, I do like the master index and the mark/recall, but if it would be possible to mark more then one spot and be able to chose your teleporting place, it would be so much better.
I really hate the long walks espescially the ones you have to do again and again and again.(although my speed is 250)
Futhermore, some spots where quite difficult to find, but perhaps that has it's charm. (although after an hour looking for a small door in the middle of nowhere, I usually quit the game)
And last but not least about the story, it should ofcourse be in a different province of Tamriel. Perhaps you where a respected, though not really powerfull citizen. But then there is a powercoupe and life as you no it is turned upside down. You have to infiltrate in the new order. Make plans with the empire and then choose a side. Are you going to fight the enemy alone with your people? Or are you going to involve the empire, make a deal say (and perhaps then betray them) Or do you take an alliagance with the enemy, and move your self up to become the new king or queen?
I really would like the "talking quests" to be more elaborate.
anyway that's just a few ideas. |

| | The connection between Daggerfall & Morrowind... The game world is the same, just somewhere else.
The thing is, in Morrowind, every town or village, there are always guards walking around with torches. Either House guards or Imperial guards. The safety feeling, I hope they loose that. Daggerfall could be really scary sometimes.
Have you guys notice every resident entrence have a lantern in Balmora? Where do they get that gasaline from? Or lantern oil? It's on all through the night.
So, to my point, drop the safety feeling and get wild. Like Solheim... |

i say they shud remake alltoghether keeping the few key elements in it, such as, weaponry (add more aswell), armour (add more aswell), characters (maybe add a couple more races), they should carry on from the storyline but add little add on lines to totally throw u off the scent of the finale, and they should throw away the sence of safety (as said davidetuna)
they should drop u off from the boat somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where anything could happen! your not starting in a village so u dont have the choice to stay and talk to people and feel all secure, they should put u somewhere where the villages/towns are completely different to elder scrolls III, bring back the feeling of "Oh No....Im Lost Again"
Safety Sucks! bring back terror!
