Displaying yer extra swords and stuff

Is there a mod or something that would let you hang some of your extra swords and weapons and stuff on the walls?

How 'bout a mod with, say, purchasable mannequins (made from upright dead bodies?) that you can dress up in some of your extra armor and/or clothing?

I haven't tried any of the mods y'all recommended yet. After getting my computer back my phone lines at home went dead.

I have all these extra swords and maces and stuff I'm having a hard time selling stacking up on benches and tables around old Hlaalo Manor. I thought, as pathetic as this sounds, that it'd be cool to decorate with them.

There are mods that allow you to display items, including weapons and armor, in transparent glass cases. There are also mods that allow you to rotate these items. But I haven't seen items that support directly placing weapons/armor on walls.

I have seen seveal mannequin mods that provide dress-up capabilities. Check out this as an example. There are probably others, but I only found this in passing. I'm not really into mannequin display.

Neither am I. Not since Abu's mannequins started getting up and walking from thier posts all the time. Freaks me out every time I turn around and realize I'm not the only animated thing in the room.

Oh, dear...

But seriously, every time I put them back they just get up and start walking again. Clad in ebony, dreugh, glass, and orcish armor... Thank goodness they aren't hostile!

I think I'm just going to haul everything out of the house and do a re-install to counter the problem.

Oh! For what it's worth, there is a Book Rotate mod, that allows you to close opened books, and to place books standing up on a shelf, next to one another. You can get it here. I've found it of considerable use, because I tend to collect the stuff.

What? You folks don't just pile stuff up in the spare rooms of the Al Rhudin mage's guild?

Nope, using your own house is more fun.

I'm pretty new and the only place I use regularly is Rolen Hlaalo's old place. I'd much rather step over a dead body in my own place than leave all my stuff in some guild hostel.

If that two-story tower at the mage's guildhall in Caldera had a hammock, I might move there.

I tried to set up an apartment base in Vivec (St. Olm's maybe) but after I was away for a while more of these corpusmeat eating creeps moved in and took my stuff.

Do y'all pretty much use Mod housing or are there other nice digs you can take over during the game?

Well, I used Hlaalo Manor for the longest time before deciding that the dead body in the middle of the room... It just wasn't working.

I wanted to stay in a city that was under my House's jurisdiction (Hlaalu), so I tried Hla Oad. They didn't have Striders, but they did have boat transport. Unfortunately, the huts don't have much storage space so I had to move back to Balmora.

For a while Balyn Omavel's house was my home (I had to execute him for the Morag Tong anyway). Then I took residency in Caldera next door to Creeper and the Orcs. It was about that time I saw DW trying to convince Fable to download Abu's retreat, so I followed suite. Now I have three mod houses (Balmora, Ald'Ruhn, Pelagiad) and at least six minor houses about the rest of the continent.

But if you're against mods you can just do what I did initially:I simply went to my enemy House's strongholds and wiped everyone out. Of course, I was a thief in the Guild so I had no troubles with bounty. Not a good idea role-playing wise, but it serves for space.
