Deadric Katana and Dai Katana Location (SP)

You can find em both at the Dren Plantation.
For the Katana you have to take out a guy with deadric shield in the Drens Villa, no easy task, at least for under 20ies.

The Dai Katana is locatet in a guard tower that looks like one of the slave barracks on poles.
You have to kill the Dunmer in there, I took him down with 4 hits at lvl 22, dunno but I think you can kill him much earlier in lvls.
The reward is just great, a deadric dai katana

there's also a guy with a daedric claymore in the guardhouse (i think), plus there are two pieces of very good armor on one of the shelves in the villa.
i cleaned out the dren plantasion when i stumbled upon it, just something that ticks me off about slavers . i know i probably messed up some future quest by slaughtering first and asking questions lat..., i mean never, but it just felt so good . anyways, i was lvl 14, the best weapon i had up to that point was a nordic claymore, so i walked away a very happy man with all the good loot...

If you killed everyone in the dren plantation, you're actually okay. Killing the Ienith brothers is a quest for no less then three different factions. Killing Orvas Dren is acceptable for the hlalu hortator quests, and I -think- for the hlalu grandmaster quest, although I know his brother would prefer you didn't kill him.

who's Dren's brother?

I killed off Dren, but I am very new in House Hlalu and hoping to advance all the way. Still possible?

Dren's brother is the duke of ebonheart, the noble in charge of all of Vvardenfell. He's also grandmaster hlalu, and who you'll get the last couple of hlalu quests from. I -think- you'll be fine having killed his brother, but I'm not positive.

The Duke isn't happy, but killing him is one way to fulfill the quest. I did the same thing.
