Daedric Shrine quest - Mephala **spoiler**

Am doing the Daedric shrine quests, on Mephala now.

Hint on forum here says 'table in Mephala shrine in Morag Tong guildhall in Vivec Arena canalworks'.

OK, I'm in the MT HQ; it's only identified (when entering and on the map) as "Vivec Arena Secret Area" but I'm assuming this is the right place. There's a sideroom with a stone table which identifies itself as "Altar to Mephala" but hitting spacebar doesn't trigger any dialog.

I tried joining MT and then trying altar again but no luck.

Any suggestions? TIA

(Never have done though offered) The 1st (poison) quest you get from a man, not from the shrine. It doesn't matter, AFAIK, if one is or isn't a meber of MT.

Yep -- you get the quest from one of the folks standing nearby. Unlike the other daedric quests, in this one you only talk to the altar once, when you're successful.

Also unlike the other daedric quests, the reward for this one is pretty piddly.

I did take the guy's quest, thinking maybe it had something to do with it. Am on my way to now to do it - had some other stuff to do first.
