Creating Mods

I have been messing around with the Construction set and am impressed with it's abilties. But I read the tutorial and I am at a loss as to where you go to create a new interior cell.

Anyone who can help me please do.

I've always sound using the construction an incredibly frustrating and difficult experience, primarily because as you suggest the actual instructions they provide are unbelievably vague. (fortunately I've no interest in major modding)
